Creative Director
The Creative Director position at Modea is a senior leadership position for an individual who is well established in the interactive design community. This role requires excellent communication skills and experience in a customer-facing role at a leading interactive agency. The Creative Director is part of the new business pitch team and is the creative face of our rapidly growing agency. The Creative Director performs many of the duties of a Senior Interactive Designer including hands-on design and development of interactive projects. This role requires significant experience in marketing, branding and strategy as well as technical capacity for interface design and motion graphics. The Creative Director is a key member of our Creative Services group and brings with them the experience of leading award-winning interactive projects for major brands.
You must be authorized to work in the US full-time at our offices in Blacksburg, VA.
Knowledge & Responsibilities
- You have a passion for solving problems and participating in the creative conceptualization of new projects
- You have excellent communication and leadership skills
- You get a rush out of pitching creative concepts and winning new business
- You work well under the constant pressure of client deadlines
- You have a portfolio site that clearly demonstrates your projects and accolades
- Your work demonstrates a high level of user experience (UX) design and UI design
- You have solid working knowledge of all interactive technologies including Adobe Flash and After Effects, HTML/CSS, ActionScript, 3D and video production
- You have the willingness and drive to take on the responsibility of being Modea’s first CD
- You have a four-year design or advertising related degree from an accredited university
- You have at least five years of experience at an Interactive agency or within the online division of a global brand
